Congress Session Formats

The congress is organized in different formats to suit the needs of the young people. The congress will embrace story telling by young people, and celebration of African cultures and diversity in music and in worship.

1. Concurrent Sessions

These will be partner led sessions to discuss relevant issues of the day related to the thematic area of focus.

2. Story telling

There will be a corner designated for young people who want to share their African stories related to the themes.

3. Exhibitions

This will be a market place of sharing and exchanging ideas. Organizations and Individuals will be having their booths for show casing.

4. High level plenary sessions

A daily full plenary with leaders, influential young people, change-makers and inspirational speakers make each plenary session memorable and provocative, making contributions to the theme Africa: My Home. My Future.

5. Music

Celebrating African talent through music.

6. Africa Celebration Night

A night to celebrate the talents of young people and the potential in the African Continent through music and art.

7. Worship

Youth leading vibrant worship services. Celebrating Africa’s diversity and connecting together in spirit.

8. Workshops and Dialogues

Open dialogue, workshops and discussions for all participants, enabling the youth to raise a voice of advocacy in the emerging congress issues.
